A new restaurant opening late summer 2024, created by the Yellow Umbrella Provisions family is seeking a passionate and talented FOH Manager to join our amazing team. This is a great opportunity for anyone with the passion, drive, and knowledge to start at the foundational level in helping to lead and grow our team.

FOH Manager Benefits:

  • Server, bartender, sommelier experience
  • Experience working with POS systems and basic computer skills.
  • Physical stamina to stand and move for extended periods.
  • Capacity to lift and carry trays and other restaurant equipment.
  • Opening Duties
  • Work with our team on the design and functionality of the restaurant's dining rooms and service areas.
  • Hiring and training FOH staff
  • Development of the restaurants service style
  • Operational Duties
  • Supervise and coordinate front-of-house staff, including hosts/hostesses, servers, and Bartenders.
  • Create monthly staffing schedule
  • Ensure smooth operations during service hours, managing reservations, seating arrangements, and guest flow.
  • Train, motivate, and evaluate front-of-house staff to maintain high standards of service and education.
  • Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen and back-of-house staff to ensure seamless communication and service.
  • Collaborate with event management for special events and parties in dining room and beyond
  • Monitor inventory levels of front-of-house supplies and place orders as needed.
  • Enforce health and safety standards, including food safety and cleanliness.
  • Oversee the setup and breakdown of dining areas before and after service.
  • Create and maintain a positive and energetic atmosphere for both customers and staff.

Now Hiring: Full-Time Line Cook for Yellow Umbrella - Libbie Mill

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to brand recipes and Yellow Umbrella standards
  • Coordinate with kitchen team members to ensure timely and efficient food production
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including but not limited to equipment and workstations
  • Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures at all times
  • Adhere to portion control guidelines to ensure consistency and cost-effectiveness
  • Assist with inventory management as needed, including but not limited to receiving and stocking supplies
  • Follow instructions from the head chef or kitchen manager
  • Monitor food quality and freshness, and rotate stock as needed
  • Assist with menu planning and development as requested
  • Assist with market operations and serve as a cashier as needed
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
